It's not just that gyre of plastic that I'm concerned about -- it's the gyre of plastic in the supermarket.

You may of heard of it -- heard it called StarLink, especially when all those taco shells were taken out of the supermarkets about a year and a half ago. terutama saat semua taco kerang ditarik dari supermarket sekitar satu setengah tahun yang lalu.

And when you go into the supermarket, you certainly don't see a lot of choices there. You see apples that are red, yellow, and green and that's about it.

And before you get too worried about it, here in the United States, the majority of food you buy in the supermarket already has genetically-modified components to it.

Her beauty and intelligence made a prince from the heavenly kingdom of Kahyangan desire her as his wife. The prince asked permission from his father to marry Dayang Sumbi. People from Kahyangan could never live side by side with humans, but his father approved on one condition, when they had a child, the prince would transform into a dog. The prince accepted the condition.

They get married and lived happily in the woods until Dayang Sumbi gave birth to a baby boy. The prince then changed into a dog named Tumang. Their son is named Sangkuriang. He was very smart and handsome like his father. Everyday, he hunted animals and looked for fruits to eat. One day, when he was hunting, Sangkuriang accidentally killed Tumang. His arrow missed the deer he was targeting and hit Tumang instead. He went home and tells her mother about the dog. “What?” Dayang Sumbi was appalled. Driven by sadness and anger, she grabbed a weaving tool and hit Sangkuriang’s head with it. Dayang Sumbi was so sad; she didn’t pay any attention to Sangkuriang and started to cry.

Sangkuriang feel sad and also confused. How can his mother love a dog more than him? Sangkuriang then decided to go away from their home and went on a journey. In the morning, Dayang Sumbi finally stopped crying. She started to feel better, so she went to find Sangkuriang. But her son was no where to be found. She looked everywhere but still couldn’t find him. Finally, she went home with nothing. She was exhausted. She fell asleep, and in her dream, she meets her husband. “Dayang Sumbi, don’t be sad. Go look for my body in the woods and get the heart. Soak it with water, and use the water to bathe, and you will look young forever,” said the prince in her dream. After bathing with the water used to soak the dog’s heart, Dayang Sumbi looked more beautiful and even younger.

And time passed by. Sangkuriang on his journey stopped at a village and met and fell in love with a beautiful girl.He didn’t realize that the village was his homeland and the beautiful girl was his own mother, Dayang Sumbi. Their love grew naturally and he asked the girl to marry him. One day, Sangkuriang was going on a hunt. He asked Dayang Sumbi to fix the turban on his head. Dayang Sumbi was startled when she saw a scar on his head at the same place where she, years ago, hit Sangkuriang on the head.

After the young man left, Dayang Sumbi prayed for guidance. After praying, she became convinced that the young man was indeed her missing son. She realized that she had to do something to prevent Sangkuriang from marrying her. But she did not wish to disappoint him by cancelling the wedding. So, although she agreed to marry Sangkuriang, she would do so only on the condition that he provides her with a lake and built a beautiful boat, all in one night.

Sangkuriang accepted this condition without a doubt. He had spent his youth studying magical arts. After the sun went down, Sangkuriang went to the hill. Then he called a group of genie to build a dam around Citarum River. Then, he commands the genies to cut down trees and build a boat. A few moments before dawn, Sangkuriang and his genie servants almost finished the boat.

Dayang Sumbi, who had been spying on him, realised that Sangkuriang would fulfill the condition she had set. Dayang Sumbi immediately woke all the women in the village and asked them to wave a long red scarf. All the women in the village were waving red scarf, making it look as if dawn was breaking. Deceived by false dawn, the cock crowed and farmers rose for the new day.

Sangkuriang’s genie servants immediately dropped their work and ran for cover from the sun, which they feared. Sangkuriang grew furious. With all his anger, he kicked the unfinished boat. The boat flew and landed on a valley. The boat then became a mountain, called Mount Tangkuban Perahu (Tangkuban means upturned or upside down, and Perahu means boat). With his power, he destroyed the dam. The water drained from the lake becoming a wide plain and nowadays became a city called Bandung (from the word Bendung, which means Dam).

7. cerita cinderella dalam bahasa inggris beserta terjemahan

Once, there lived a beautiful girl named Cinderella. She lived with her stepmother and two stepsisters. They treated Cinderella badly. Every day, she had to do all the household chores alone.

One day, a letter from the king came to their house. They and all the girls in the kingdom were invited for a grand ball in the king’s palace and the prince would be choosing a wife. However, Cinderella’s stepmother did not give her permission to go. She was asked to help both her stepsisters with their dress for the ball. They then went to the ball, leaving Cinderella at home disappointed.

Cinderella felt very sad and burst into tears. Suddenly, a fairy godmother appeared and said, “Don’t cry, my dear. I will send you to the ball!” Cinderella was surprised and said, “I don’t have a gown to wear for the ball!” The fairy godmother waved her magic wand and instantly her old rags were turned into a beautiful gown. Cinderella was also given a pair of beautiful glass slippers by the fairy godmother.

Cinderella then asked, “How will I get there?” The fairy godmother looked around and found a pumpkin and six mice. She waved her magic wand and turned them into a golden coach, four black horses, and two coachmen. Cinderella was thrilled to set off for the ball. Before leaving, the fairy godmother said, “Cinderella, the magic will only last until midnight, so you must get home immediately by then.”

When Cinderella entered the palace, everybody was impressed by her beauty. The charming prince was also attracted by her beauty. He came up to her and asked, “Do you want to dance with me, lady?” Cinderella said, “Yes, my prince!” The prince danced with her all night and nobody recognized her, not even her stepmother and stepsisters. She was so happy to dance with the prince that almost forgot what the hairy godmother had said.

At the last moment, Cinderella remembered her fairy godmother’s words and said, “Oh! I’m sorry my prince, I must go!” As she left the palace hurriedly, one of her glass slippers came off. She kept running and did not turn back for it because she did not have much time. When she arrived at home, the clock struck twelve and all the magic spell disappear. Her stepmother and stepsisters came home shortly after that. They were talking about the beautiful lady who had been dancing with the prince.

Meanwhile at the palace, the prince had fallen in love with Cinderella. He wanted to find out who the beautiful girl was. He looked down and found a glass slipper that was left by the girl. “I will find the girl whose foot fits this slipper. She will be the one that I marry!” said the prince.

Next day, the prince and his servants took the glass slipper and went to all the houses in the kingdom. They asked all the women in the kingdom to try it on. Both Cinderella’s stepsisters also tried on the glass slipper. They tried to squeeze their feet and push hard into it, but the servant was afraid that it would break.

At last, it was only Cinderella who had not tried the glass slipper. Her stepmother would not allow her to try it on. However, the prince saw her and said, “Let her also try on the slipper.” The slipper fit her foot perfectly. The prince finally recognized that she was the girl who was dancing with him. He then married Cinderella and together they lived happily ever after.

Kutai Kingdom is a hindu kingdom located in the upper reaches of Mahakam River, East Kalimantan. The main news source of this kingdom is 7 pieces of slate called yupa. The inscription is written in Sanskrit Pallawa, presumably in AD 400 (5th century CE). On one of the inscriptions mentioned, King Kutai who ruled was Mulawarman, Aswawarman's son, grandson of Kudungga. Based on Prof.'s analysis Dr. Purbacaraka, Kudungga is the original name of Indonesia. Thus, when Kudungga ruled, it was suspected that cultural influences from India had not yet come. However, by the time Aswawarman began to rule apparently Hindu influence began to come. Evident in one of the inscriptions found, Aswawarman called Wangsakarta which is the Sanskrit language of India. Wangsakarta means the forming of the family. The ancient heritage of Kutai Kingdom written in Pallawa and Sanskrit gives a hint that there are some Kutai inhabitants living in an Indian civilization. Sanskrit is not the language of ordinary folk, but is commonly used by brahmins. The possibility of Kutai in Sanskrit is used by brahmins. Thus, brahmans may also have been a particular group of people in Kutai. Another group of people emerging from the influence of Indian culture is a group of knights. In Kutai, a group of knights consists of relatives of Mulawarman or limited to people closely related to the king. Communities outside the brahmin and knight groups are still living in the original atmosphere and traditions of Kutai ancestors. There is not much information about the economic activities of the people in the Kingdom of Kutai. However, it is estimated that they live from crops and livestock. The likelihood of living from agricultural products is based on the location of the Kutai Kingdom also inland of Kalimatan and near the flow of the Mahakam River. Livestock life is also a mainstay of their lives given the frequent kings held a sacrifice ceremony. For example, the king once awarded 20,000 head of cattle to the brahmins. In the Kingdom of Kutai is often also performed Asmawedha ceremony or upacarapelepasan horse to determine the boundaries of the kingdom.

terjemahan =

Good morning our teacher, ladies and gentlemen, and also my dear friends. Thank you for the opportunity given to me this morning to be able to deliver this speech. First of all let’s praise the blessings of God Almighty because of his grace we can all gather together on this day in the good health.

Dear teachers and friends, today I will discuss about one of the heroes that exist in our daily life. They are the teachers. For me a teacher is a noble job. A teacher is not only tasked to deliver the subject matter, but also must be able to educate the next generation of the nation. A teacher is not only required to be smart but also to be in the moral. On the other hand the profession of teachers is also referred to as a noble profession. In this case, it should be realized that a teacher in carrying out his profession demanded the presence of noble and high morals. Or in other words the essence of the noble profession is the dedication of humanity. Each teacher should know their roles and tasks in detail if they want to try and produce impressive teaching. A teacher is a great person, full of patience and affection.

I do not know what I should express to reward my teachers who have made me such a better person. The teacher’s struggle is full of simplicity and sacrifice. That struggle actually inspires us as his students. A teacher sets an example as a hero to this nation and country.

My beloved teachers and friends, no one in this world can become successful without a teacher. President, doctor, pilot, manager, even CEO will learn much from a teacher. We will continue to learn until we die later, therefore the figure of a teacher is an important figure for us all.

My beloved teachers and friends,

Thanks to the devotion of our teacher to us, because of that we can achieve good results. Our teachers never tired of teaching us from the beginning. Our teachers teach us to read, write, and also count. They also give all the knowledge they have so we can become the great people later. Therefore I as the representative of all students, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the services and sacrifices of our teachers so far. Thanks for guiding us all. Thank you for educating us all. Thank you for being patient with our naughty behavior. Thank you for not giving up on teaching us. Thank you for everything. I am proud of my teachers. They are an inspirational figure to me and to all of us. Maybe someday, I and all of you can follow in their footsteps as a servant of the nation.

So that’s the end of my speech. If there is any mistake, I do apologize. Thank you for your attention.
